Michael Kowalczyk Portrait, Photo by J. Ruszkiewicz

Hi, my name is Michael Kowalczyk, and I enjoy making photographs in public to document the spirit of the times since the beginning of the 21st century.

My creative process often involves shooting wide angle, experimenting with perspectives and techniques using both film and digital cameras. Check out the work section for my portfolio and image series. Over time some photographs have been awarded, published and exhibited worldwide. I have worked on commission with renowned organizations, including the International Center of Photography School and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany.

Beyond creating images, I am passionate about sharing my expertise on the blog, where I share howtos and overview lists about gear and photography related media. In person, I offer workshops and coaching in candid photography techniques and image editing / organization. I am also available for collaborations and client work in English, German, and Polish.
