2nd place – Siena Photo Awards 2020
In January 2020, I submitted two photographs to the international photo competition SIENA Awards 2020 in the Street Photography category. In April I received the good news that “Medellin Mirror” was in the finals. I was invited to the beautiful Italian city of Siena along with my companion for the announcement of the winner. And then Corona hit. Except for the “Imagine all the People Sharing all the World” exhibition, all on-site events were cancelled. The awards ceremony took place online and Medellin Mirror was awarded 2nd place. I am very happy about that and also about being honored with the unique, handmade “Pangea Trophy”!
Silver Award – International Photography Awards 2020
Medellin Mirror was awarded with the Honors of Excellence Silver Award in the 2nd half WPE International Photographers Awards 2022.
